WELCOME to Anaheim, California

Faces of Anaheim is spearheaded by a collective of artists under the guidance of Faces of Mankind founder, Brian Peterson. Faces of Mankind’s mission is to tell the stories of the unseen and unheard, by way of dignified paintings and creative media. We sell the artwork and use the funds to help our neighbors achieve their goals and dreams.

In partnership with Vineyard Anaheim Church and Mercy House’s Bridges Shelter, 18 artists gathered with their neighbors experiencing homelessness at King’s Table. At the banquet table, artists and guests shared stories, hopes, and dreams around a three course meal. Following the dinner, for the following 8 weeks, Faces of Anaheim artists went on a journey into learning to see like God, and paint what they have come to see. Peterson’s class was focused on revelatory ideas like painting as an act of worship, and communing with the Holy Spirit during the process.

Throughout this page, you’ll see the result of collective worship, community, fellowship with the spirit, and relationship with our vulnerable neighbors in the city of Anaheim. The purchase of one of these paintings is not only the collection of a beautiful piece of art, but is also an investment in a real life.
