Meet: AMANDA & BRIAN
Painted by Chapman Hamborg
“Reconciliation”
When I first met Amanda and Brian Hill, it was during one of their first unsupervised visits with their son Ryder. I could see what great parents they both were and how much they loved and cared for their son. Amanda shared her heart's desires to gain custody over her son. She has been on a journey of gaining sobriety and healing. While painting this portrait I was connecting with God’s heart of love for Amanda and Ryder. I was praying for their family to be reunited, for there to be complete healing between Amanda and Ryswe, and that God would restore the time lost.
After completing the portrait, Amanda and Brian gained custody of Ryder and were blessed with housing! I was able to reveal the painting to them in their new home. It is beautiful to see this family restored, and with a fresh start. The Hills would like to use the money earned from the sale of this painting to go towards a car. Having a car would make a huge difference for them, they would be able to get to and from work more easily, and be able to get out of the house and enjoy time together as a family. I’m so thankful to see how God is transforming their lives and I am praying for continued strength and blessings over their family.
