Meet: DARCY
Darcy is a loving and joy filled mother who loves to share jokes in conversation. She is a defender of those who need a voice and constantly extends her compassion to those around her. Her favorite color is magenta and she has a daughter named Darcie, though named after her godmother. This painting showcases her favorite color and the incredible characteristics of Darcy; funny, a mother, compassionate, defender, and a natural leader. I made her hair bold with color to portray her colorful personality and wit. I also wanted it to represent her bravery and strength, being bold like a lion. The soft pink, blue, and yellow colors are representative of her compassionate mother’s heart in which all feel seen and loved.
