“God Restores”
Even though he had a rough beginning, Brian quickly points out that becoming a believer in Jesus more than a year ago has turned his whole life around. After his parents split up Brian spent some time in foster care, and became estranged from his family members. He began using drugs at 11-years-old and had many violent incidents and drug charges and jail time before he laid it all down to begin a sober life as a follower of God. Going through some failures and losses and slip-ups only served to bring him back to renewed conviction that his life in the Lord is the one true life for him.
He is very proud of his tattoos, especially the ones that have the cross and Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He loves to proclaim “God Restores” often and his knuckles are tattooed with several Bible verse references to remind him of that truth. I’m delighted to get to know Brian and see what God is doing in his life. He affects everyone around him with his warmth and enthusiasm!
The dream of his heart is to live the kind of life that gives others hope and he is running toward that dream with all his joy and energy. He wants to take some classes that will equip him to do something that helps others turn their lives around as well.
