Faces of Jackson is spearheaded by Callie Wright under the guidance of Faces of Mankind founder, Brian Peterson. To date, Callie has made an impact in the Jackson community by befriending those in vulnerable positions, painting their portrait, and selling the work in an effort to provide them resources needed to survive.

THE ARTIST.
Callie is an artist and social worker from Louisville, Kentuck. She is currently living in Jackson, Tennessee, where she is working on two undergraduate degrees at Union University (Art and Social Work) and will graduate in 2022. After graduating, Callie hopes to continue digging into her new Jackson home and connecting more with her neighbors in Tennessee. Callie's passion is to paint people's portraits and share their stories with them, the world, and herself. She believes that each person matters and has incredible dignity and worth; art is her way of doing that.
