Meet: James
James is a hardworking man I met when Union hosted Room in the Inn (a temporary hosting/sheltering program in Jackson, for those outside the local area.) He is good friends with Rickey, who I also met that night and whose portrait is on this site. He works at one of the big factories in town, and has recently moved towards housing! He is a fun and friendly man and, he made me feel very comfortable and welcome even in our first dinner conversation together. The last time I spoke with him, he was dreaming about moving to Florida! I hope to reconnect with him and see how his plans are going.
