Vanessa Hamilton was born and raised in Detroit. She’s a mother of 5 and has lived in Pontiac for the last 8 years. I met her through the Pontiac Dream Center and got to hear a bit of her story. It was a long and dark journey for her prior to coming to the center. Since being there she has been hired as a social enterprise employee. And has aspirations of one day owning her own biscuit shop to help build relationships and community.
