Meet: Nikki
Nikki is a very inspiring and compassionate woman, nurse, leader, colleague, friend & community member who has cared for vulnerable older people in the London area for years. She has been working hard to counteract the loneliness and isolation that so many face. Her efforts were recognized in 2022 with a British empire medal for her charity’s (Age UK Camden) response to the coronavirus pandemic with many initiatives being set up to care for the elderly in the area.
The use of jasmine, bluebells, and daisies represents her essence of compassion, humility, and patience. The sweet grass braids her belief in the importance of the mind, body & spirit connection, and the peacock feathers her strength.
Proceeds from the sale of this piece will go to support the clients of AgeUK Camden at a time when so many of them are struggling to make ends meet.
